FORT CARSON, Colo. — Medical Soldiers with 627th Hospital Center board the plane to deploy to Washington in support of COVID-19 relief efforts, at the Arrival/Departure Airfield Control Group facility March 27, 2020, by the Colorado Springs Airport. The Soldiers will provide supplemental routine and emergency medical support to communities and medical staff near Seattle. The Army is working with interagency partners, including the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, DOD, Military Health System and others to support and protect the military force and the American people.
