An A-10 Thunderbolt II (Warthog) attack aircraft is photographed from above at high altitude, showing its distinctive twin-engine, straight-wing configuration. The aircraft is carrying multiple underwing stores and has deployed what appears to be a flare, visible in the lower right of the frame trailing smoke and flame. The terrain below shows a rural, agricultural landscape with fields, tree lines, and a small body of water.
