200221-A-BP481-1155 ARABAIN GULF (Feb. 21, 2020) A Sailor assigned to the coastal patrol ship USS Squall (PC 7) lowers the Union Jack as the ship departs for Nautical Defender 20 (ND). ND is a bilateral maritime exercise between the U.S. Navy and the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RNSF) designed to build and sustain war-fighting capabilities, support long-term regional security and enhance military-to-military interoperability with the U.S. and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
