200221-A-BP481-1224 ARABIAN GULF (Feb. 21, 2020) Operations Specialist 2nd Class Austin Mckee uses the telescopic alidade to find bearings aboard the coastal patrol ship USS Tempest (PC 2). Tempest is taking part in Nautical Defender 20 (ND). ND is a bilateral maritime exercise between the U.S. Navy and the Royal Saudi Naval Forces designed to build and sustain war-fighting capabilities, support long-term regional security and enhance military-to-military interoperability with the U.S. and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
