Rear Admiral Bruce Gillingham, Navy surgeon general and chief, US Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, visited the Naval Medical Research Unit Dayton (NAMRU-Dayton) on February 25. Gillingham presented Captain Nimfa Teneza-Mora, commanding officer of NAMRU-Dayton, with the Meritorious Service Medal for her outstanding service while serving as Executive Officer, Naval Medical Research Unit Six, Lima, Peru from July 2017 to October 2019.
