    Rear Admiral Bruce Gillingham, Navy surgeon general and chief, US Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, visited the Naval Medical Research Unit Dayton (NAMRU-Dayton) on February 25. Rear Adm. Gillingham sees firsthand the way researchers are responding to the Navy's needs by developing products for the fleet to improve trainig and flight operations. NAMRU-Dayton research psychologist, Dr. Kara Blacker, explains how the Reduced Oxygen Breathing Environment (ROBE) support research to provide a safer way to conduct pilot hypoxia training.
