Jeff Bierley, former commanding officer of the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), returns a salute to sideboys following a change of command ceremony aboard the ship, Feb. 7. Capt. Al Alarcon relieved Bierley as commanding officer of Frank Cable during the event. Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam, repairs, rearms and re-provisions submarines and surface vessels in the Indo Pacific region.
