Don Wilson, chief staff officer of Amphibious Squadron 8, watches the approach of the fleet replenishment oiler USNS Leroy Grumman (T-AO 195) from the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) before a replenishment-at-sea, Dec. 20, 2019. Bataan is operating in the Atlantic Ocean in support of naval operations to maintain maritime stability and security in order to ensure access, deter aggression and defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
