ATLANTIC OCEAN (Dec. 20, 2019) - A Sailor assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) fires a shot line to the fleet replenishment oiler USNS Leroy Grumman (T-AO 195) before commencing a replenishment-at-sea, Dec. 20, 2019. Bataan is operating in the Atlantic Ocean in support of naval operations to maintain maritime stability and security in order to ensure access, deter aggression and defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
