ATLANTIC OCEAN (Dec. 20, 2019) - Lt.j.g. Hunter Moak and Ensign Brittany Ott, assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5), use sound-powered telephones to communicate the distance of the fleet replenishment oiler USNS Leroy Grumman (T-AO 195), before commencing a replenishment-at-sea, Dec. 20, 2019. Bataan is operating in the Atlantic Ocean in support of naval operations to maintain maritime stability and security in order to ensure access, deter aggression and defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
