200108-N-QR336-1605 NARRA, Palawan (Jan. 8, 2020) Equipment Operator 3rd Class Vincent Aoki, from Hilo, Hawaii, receives buckets full of concrete from Builder Constructionman Brandon Williams, from Blue Point, New York, for the overhead beam during a concrete placement. U.S. Navy Seabees deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5 are building a new two-room schoolhouse at Malatgao Elementary School. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
