200108-N-QR336-1607 NARRA, Palawan (Jan. 8, 2020) Capt. Steve Stasick, 30th Naval Construction Regiment commodore, addresses U.S. Navy Seabees deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Palawan during a site visit. The Seabees deployed with NMCB-5 are building a new two-room schoolhouse at Malatgao Elementary School. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
