Members of the Wisconsin State Legislature present a plaque to Lt. Col. William Vaughn, the commander of the 432nd Civil Affairs Battalion, during the unit’s Welcome Home Warrior-Citizen ceremony, recognizing the efforts and heroism of the unit’s soldiers after a nine- month deployment to Afghanistan. Members of Congress, community members, and families gathered at the Kress Center in Green Bay, Wis., June 9, 2012 to honor the service and heroism of the soldiers who returned in March.
