Two men are posing together in what appears to be an ornate event hall or theater with Middle Eastern architectural decor. One man is wearing traditional Arabic/Middle Eastern costume including a white turban and embroidered blue robe, and is sitting on the shoulders of the other man while spinning a colorful decorative umbrella or parasol. The setting features yellow twisted columns, red curtains, and Arabic text visible on a banner in the background.

U.S. Army Capt. Kenneth Bacso, from Caldwell, Idaho, is greeted by an Islamic dancer during a celebration at the five-star Four Season's Hotel in Doha, Qatar on Sept. 28. Bacso, on pass from Iraq, took advantage of the rest and recuperation program at the American base in Qatar. Several participants attended the formal "Suhur," an Arabic word referring to a late evening feast during Ramadan, Islam's holiest month. An elegant buffet paved the way to music and dancing, lasting though the night. At sunrise, the Islamic nation returned to the stringent requirements for daily fasting to support local religious beliefs during the holy month.
