    Lieutenant Col. Walker Field, the commanding officer of 5th Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, salutes the Marines and sailors of his battalion one last time during the pass in review portion of the battalion’s deactivation ceremony June 1. The unit’s deactivation is part of a drawdown of forces to return the Marine Corps to prewar manning levels.
