    II Marine Expeditionary Force   

    Marines, sailors and honored guests in attendance at the deactivation ceremony for 5th Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, stand with heads bowed during the invocation given at the beginning of the ceremony June 1. The unit was direct to be deactivated by the commandant of the Marine Corps as an effort to return the Marine Corps to prewar manning levels.
