(Dec. 14, 2019) CFAY and the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) chief petty officers and their family members watch as the cake is being cut during the opening ceremony of the 33rd Annual Mochi Pounding Festival at the JMSDF Yokosuka base, Japan. Mochi is a traditional Japanese food made by pounding cooked rice with wooden mallets.
