191209-N-PG340-2066 OKINAWA, Japan (Dec. 9, 2019) Equipment Operator 2nd Class Miguel Aragon (left) and Builder 1st Class Nicholas Boltin, both deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, review the safety plan at the construction on board Marine Corps Air Station Futenma. U.S. Navy Seabees are constructing two steel reinforced concrete pads in support of Marine Air Control Squadron 4. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
