U.S. and Panamanian forces off-load construction materials off a CH 47 Chinook helicopter in Punusa, Darien province, Panama, Dec. 6, 2019. The mission was part of Exercise Mercury, a combined joint exercise that allows Panamanian and U.S. participants to work alongside one another for a simulated humanitarian assistance and disaster response scenario with the goal of growing interoperability while developing skills necessary to respond to potential future contingencies.
