191107-N-XK887-0393 DIEGO GARCIA, British Indian Ocean Territory (Nov. 7, 2019) Construction Electrician Constructionman Tyler Nez, from Holbrook, Arizona, deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detachment Diego Garcia, cuts wood down to size to be palletized during the demolition portion of a new tension fabric structure to support the U.S. Air Force. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
