191102-N-XK887-0299 DIEGO GARCIA, British Indian Ocean Territory (Nov. 2, 2019) U.S. Navy Seabees deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detachment Diego Garcia, participate in the first training Saturday of the current deployment. Training Saturdays are conducted once every three weeks and cover a variety of topics ranging from general military knowledge to one-on-one training for Sailors. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
