Lt. Gen. R. Scott Dingle, the Surgeon General of the U.S. Army, exits a C-17 used for aeromedical evacuations at Amedee Army Airfield, California, during the United States Forces Command Medical Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise Distinguished Visitor Day, Nov. 4, 2019. Dingle and other distinguished visitors received a tour of the field hospital, the exercise control tent, the Effects & Enablers facility as well as a C-17 used for aeromedical evacuations.
