Class Marco Padilla (left) of San Antonio, and Construction Mechanic Constructionman Delmar Tamayao (right) of Bloomfield, New Jersey, organize maintenance binders to better the efficiency of the Battalion Equipment Evaluation Process (BEEP). During BEEP, the incoming battalion will assess and inspect the equipment for discrepancies with the outgoing battalion in order to prepare for and to facilitate the efforts of the planned projects. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
