Counter Terrorism Service students begin a sweep for Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) during urban operations training in Baghdad, Iraq Oct. 2, 2019. The urban operations training consisted of building and room clearing, personnel search, detention techniques, and IED recognition. Our partner security forces are trained and equipped to identify and remove IEDs. Civilians can support the safety of their communities by reporting IED locations, equipment and any suspected terrorists to the proper authorities. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. Rory Featherston)
