JACKSONVILLE, Fla (Oct 1, 2019) – A P-8A Poseidon aircraft assigned to the “Fighting Tigers” of Patrol Squadron (VP) 8, approaches the runway of Naval Air Station Jacksonville . VP-8 is returning from a six-month deployment to the U.S. 4th and 7th Fleet area of operations after conducting maritime patrol and reconnaissance operations in support of Commander Task Force (CTF) 47 and CTF 72.
