Estonian and U.S. Special Operation Forces operators fast rope out of a U.S. Air Force CV-22 Osprey, assigned to the 352nd Special Operations Wing, during Fast Rope Insertion and Extraction System training near Amari, Estonia, Sept, 3, 2019. The CV-22 Osprey is a tilt-rotor aircraft that combines the vertical takeoff, hover, and vertical landing qualities of a helicopter with the long-range, fuel efficiency, and speed characteristics of a turboprop aircraft.
