    ARABIAN SEA (Sept. 16, 2019) Aviation Machinist's Mate 3rd Class David Lowe stabilizes an engine to a winch in the intermediate maintenance department jet shop aboard the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). The Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
