A senior U.S. Navy officer, viewed from behind, addresses a large formation of sailors in white dress uniforms inside what appears to be the hangar bay of an aircraft carrier. The officer stands at a podium with a microphone, facing hundreds of enlisted personnel and junior officers standing at attention in organized rows. The setting and uniforms suggest a formal ceremony such as a change of command, awards ceremony, or all-hands call.
