    The aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis steams through the Atlantic Ocean, Sept. 7, 2019. The John C. Stennis is underway following a sortie due to Hurricane Dorian earlier this week. Commander, Navy Region Mid-Atlantic ordered all U.S. Navy installations in Hampton Roads to return to normal operations on Sept. 6, as Dorian no longer poses a threat to the area.
