YOKOSUKA, Japan (Sept. 9, 2019) – Bleachers from Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka’s (CFAY) Berkey Field are turned upside down by Typhoon Faxai, a storm with winds of more than 124 miles per hour that made landfall over CFAY. CFAY provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and 27,000 military and civilian personnel.
