Command Sgt. Maj. Neil Ciotola, the senior non-commissioned officer for Multi-National Corps - Iraq, places the Sergeant Audie Murphy medallion around the neck of San Antonio native Command Sgt. Maj. Pablo Squiabro, the senior NCO for the 2nd "Stallion" Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, during a ceremony inducting Squiabro into the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club Sept. 12 at Camp Taji, Iraq. Squiabro was given an honorary membership thanks to Soldiers in his unit who said the command sergeant major "exemplified the characteristics of an outstanding non-commissioned officer in much the same way that Audie Murphy did," and contacted Ciotola about having Squiabro inducted as an honorary member in the club.
