Rich Jarrett, commanding officer of Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), shakes hands with Katsuaki Kamiji, mayor of Yokosuka, Japan, during the 43rd annual Friendship Day celebration hosted by CFAY. The summer open base event is one of several throughout the year highlighting the friendship between the local Japanese community and U.S. Navy.
