A diver in a black wetsuit is boarding or exiting an inflatable rubber boat (RIB/Zodiac-type vessel), appearing wet from recent water activity. He is holding diving fins in one hand and wearing diving gloves with yellow-green accents. A second person, partially visible on the right, appears to be assisting him.

U.S. Army Reserve Sgt. Daniel Sibori, a native of Northfield, Vt., of the 74th Engineer Dive Detachment, 92nd Engineer Battalion, 20th Engineer Brigade, collects himself after completion of Staff Sgt. Brett Hyde's command certification for dive supervisor at Ft. Hood, Texas on July 21, 2019. Sibori simulated having decompression sickness after a dive, enabling Hyde to demonstrate his knowledge of corrective actions during emergencies encountered in diving operations. Proficiency in the exercise is critical where water is a significant geographical consideration. “Add water of any kind to a mission and you increase the difficulty,” said Hyde.
