SELFRIDGE AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Mich.-- More than 200 Airmen of the 127th Wing were welcomed home by the Michigan lieutenant governor, and Michigan National Guard leadership, as they returned home from a combat tour, July 24, 2019. The Airmen, who were deployed for up to six months are assigned to the 127th Maintenance Group, 127th Operations Group and 127th Mission Support Groups here. Overall, 127th Wing Airmen executed approximately 1,100 sorties in support of Operation Freedom's Sentinel, Operation Inherent Resolve and Operation Spartan Shield.
