VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (July 11, 2019) ) As part of a Defense Support of Civil Authorities loading exercise (DSCA LOADEX), construction equipment and support equipment assigned to Construction Battalion Maintenance Unit 202, is lined up to be on loaded to a Landing Craft Air Cushion during a Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) load Exercise (LOADEX). DSCA LOADEX is designed to train and familiarize Sailors and Marines with rapid response capabilities following man-made and natural disaster, such as industrial accidents, hurricanes and earthquakes that affect both local civilian and military populations.
