A woman in a light pink cardigan sits at a desk with a laptop in what appears to be a conference or training room. Behind her is a whiteboard with handwritten notes about freight logistics, and above is a wall-mounted monitor displaying a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet with green-highlighted cells related to capability assessments at Fort McCoy. The setting suggests a professional training or planning session.

Kathryn Miller, organizational change management training lead for the Transportation Management System (TMS) Prototype Core Team with U.S. Transportation Command (TRANSCOM) at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., discusses aspects of the TMS prototype June 7, 2019, during training at Fort McCoy, Wis. Several people were trained on TMS at Fort McCoy in early June. According to TRANSCOM, part of the vision of the TMS prototype is to implement an enterprise-wide management system to perform global transportation functions within the plan, order, ship, track, and pay construct and leverage interoperable data and flow of information across the Joint Deployment Distribution Enterprise.
