Marines march during the opening ceremony for exercise Forest Light 12-2 here March 4. Marines with Combat Logistics Regiments 35 and 37 trained with members with 4th Infantry Regiment, 5th Brigade, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force in order to enhance the interoperability of Marines and JGSDF members while increasing individual and unit readiness in a cold weather environment. CLR-35 and 37 are part of 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
