(May 31, 2019) Sailors assigned to the medical department aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) pose for a group photo during the fourth annual Corpsman Skills Day held at the Adm. Joel T. Boone Branch Health Clinic on Joint Expeditionary Base, Little Creek-Fort Story. RCOH is a nearly four-year project performed only once during a carrier’s 50-year service life that includes refueling of the ship’s two nuclear reactors, as well as significant repair, upgrades and modernization.
