Two military fighter jets are flying in formation against a clear blue sky. Both aircraft appear to be F/A-18 Super Hornets based on their twin-tail configuration, twin engines, and overall airframe design. The jets are equipped with visible external stores including missiles and fuel tanks on their wing pylons.

Two F/A-18F Super Hornets, assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 41, fly alongside the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) during an air power demonstration in the Atlantic Ocean, May 14, 2019. The John C.
