After returning from a downrange mission during Prominent Hunt 19-1, Spc. Autumn Rolland, from Wasilla, Alaska, has her hands examined at the forward contamination control line by Sgt. 1st Class Salvatore DiGiamcoco, from Kearney, New Jersey, with a radiation detection monitor. Prominent Hunt 19-1 is part of regularly scheduled biannual interagency training exercises by the U.S. government's National Technical Nuclear Forensics (NTNF) Ground Collection Task Force (GCTF) that have been conducted since 2012. This training exercise provides an opportunity to practice and enhance the NTNF GCTF's operational readiness to respond to a nuclear detonation in the United States or overseas.
