TRÓIA, PORTUGAL (April 10, 2019) –Portuguese Fuzeleiros teach U.S. Marine with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit how to operate the MG3 machine gun at a combined assault exercise during Instruction Exercise (INSTREX) in Tróia, Portugal, April 10, 2019. Elements from the 22nd MEU are participating in INSTREX in order to sustain combat readiness, execute amphibious operations, demonstrate interoperability and continue a strong partner relationship with our NATO ally.
