TRÓIA, PORTUGAL (April 10, 2019) – U.S. Marine Cpl. Lucas Cassabuan, a machine gunner with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, tosses a belt of 7.62mm ammunition to Cpl. William Shaw while Lance Cpl. Lyndon Hays fires an M240B machine gun at a combined assault exercise during Instruction Exercise (INSTREX) in Tróia, Portugal, April 10, 2019. Elements from the 22nd MEU are participating in INSTREX in order to sustain combat readiness, execute amphibious operations, demonstrate interoperability and continue a strong partner relationship with our NATO ally.
