PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – (April 10, 2019) Personnel assigned to Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) attended the Career Expo during Navy Visibility Day held at the Willie A. Tempton, Sr. Memorial Student Center on the campus of Prairie View A&M University. Navy Visibility Day is a Navy Recruiting Command (NRC) proprietary recruitment program built specifically for the purpose of attracting the brightest, diverse college prospects, and showcasing opportunities for both military and civilian careers. Its purpose is the build and sustain strategic networks with universities and colleges while promoting Navy awareness within a diverse and under-represented community. Navy Visibility Day offers a Lean Six Sigma Workshop, Career Expo, Panel Discussion, and the Navy’s Virtual Reality Experience, the NIMITZ. NAVSEA employs a highly trained, educated, and skilled workforce, from students and entry level employees to experienced professionals and individuals with disabilities.
