Marine Corps Recruiting Command           

U.S. Marines and student-athletes participate in a Marine Corps wake up and workout during the 2019 Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Convention in Tampa, Florida, April 5, 2019. The Marine Corps partnered with and attended the WBCA to generate awareness, maximize the visibility of the Marine Corps within the female community across America, and create lasting relationships with coaches, influencers, administrators and event attendees. The Marine Corps Recruiting Command partnered with WBCA to conduct influencer and media engagement and to showcase the Marine Corps’ commitment to leadership in America’s communities. The WBCA’s mission is to promote women’s basketball by unifying coaches at all levels to develop a reputable identity for the sport and to foster and promote the development of the game of basketball as a sport for women and girls.
