190312-N-MW964-1078 VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. (Mar. 12, 2019) – Equipment Operator 2nd Class Nathan Everson from Sacramento, California, and Construction Mechanic Constructionman Thomas Williams from Post Falls, Idaho, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 5, load debris into the 924 CAT Loader bucket as part of an expeditionary rapid airfield damage repair (ExRADR) exercise on Vandenberg Air Force Base in support of Exercise Pacific Blitz 2019 (PacBlitz19). ExRADR tests Seabee units’ ability to repair runways enabling continued support to Navy and Marine Corps operations. Navy Expeditionary Forces support the Marine Expeditionary Forces and the Fleet by establishing theater logistics through the development of advanced naval bases.
