190312-N-MW964-1066 VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. (Mar. 12, 2019) – Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 5, remove debris using a 924 CAT Loader, a skid steer and a CAT Grader in an expeditionary rapid airfield damage repair (ExRADR) exercise on Vandenberg Air Force Base in support of Exercise Pacific Blitz 2019 (PacBlitz19). ExRADR tests Seabee units’ ability to repair runways enabling continued support to Navy and Marine Corps operations. Navy Expeditionary Forces support the Marine Expeditionary Forces and the Fleet by establishing theater logistics through the development of advanced naval bases.
