Col. Paul E. Funk II, commander, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division and a native of Roundup, Mont., gives a briefing about his area of operations to Iraqi army Lt. Gen. Abud Qanbar, commanding general of the Baghdad Operations Center and the Iraqi general in charge of Operation Fahrd Al Qanoon, at Camp Taji, Iraq, July 31. Qanbar took the opportunity to meet with the "Ironhorse Brigade" during a visit to Taji with Brig. Gen. John Campbell, deputy commanding general for maneuver, Multi-National Division-Baghdad. Qanbar and Campbell joined 1st BCT leadership on a trip outside the wire to visit Ironhorse troops at various outposts north of Baghdad.
