U.S. Airmen from the 57th Rescue Squadron known as the "Guardian Angels" based out of Aviano Air Base, Italy, pulls security during a notional personnel recovery exercise Feb. 5, 2019, in Croatia. The scenario simulated an F16 that experienced an engine malfunction, which resulted in the pilot ejecting out of the aircraft unto unknown territory.
