US Army Reserve Commanding General, Lt. Gen. Charles Luckey, receives a range orientation brief from Capt. Cindy Stockamp of the 451st Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), based in Wichita, Kan., during Operation Cold Steel III at Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., on February 13, 2019. Lt. Gen. Luckey enjoyed the level of enthusiasm the Soldiers displayed while executing gunnery despite the rainy weather conditions. Operation Cold Steel III trains and qualifies Army Reserve Soldiers on M2 .50 caliber machine guns, M19 40 mm automatic grenade launchers and M240 7.62 mm machine guns weapons systems in ground and mounted military vehicles, in order to provide lethal and combat ready units ready to deploy anywhere in the world.
