U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Adam Lopez, an aircraft ordnance technician and New York, N.Y., native with Marine Attack Squadron 223, attached to Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response-Central Command, performs a quality check on the weapons systems and ordnance on an AV-8B Harrier to ensure that the aircraft is ready for operations in the region. As a quick reaction force, the SPMAGTF-CR-CC is capable of deploying aviation, ground and logistical forces forward at a moment's notice, and supports Operation Inherent Resolve, working by, with, and through the partner forces to defeat ISIS.
